New agreement could mean over 1,000 daily flights at DFW for American Airlines

“For American Airlines Group Inc. CEO Robert Isom, the sky is literally the limit when it comes to his aspirations for how much the carrier will fly out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in the years ahead.

Fort Worth-based American (Nasdaq: AAL) currently operates more than 800 flights a day out of its biggest hub. After finalizing a new 10-year use and lease agreement with the airport that will add 24 new gates, including 15 at a long-awaited sixth terminal, Isom offered a bullish outlook.“
