“According to the June 2023 edition of Moody’s Investors Service, Credit Opinion, Collin County is primed for more development and doesn’t appear to show any signs of slowing. The economy base is large, diverse, and affluent, and it will continue to grow due to strong demand for commercial and residential property. The county’s assessed valuation growth has been driven by numerous corporate relocations and expansions.
It’s clear to see that North Texas (and Collin County, specifically) are the benefactors of businesses moving from New York, California, and other states eager to be in a business-friendly environment. Collin County’s property value per capita is high at approximately $189,000, and the local economy— as assessed by gross domestic product—has grown at a pace of 1.3 percent over the past five years.“
